The challenge

A marketplace has to work for two audiences at once.

Trade429 connects buyers, sellers, wholesalers and suppliers across many product categories. Buyers need to find products, compare sellers and order with confidence. Sellers need to set up a store, list products and respond to orders and quotation requests.

The platform needed to be scalable, with separate buyer and seller experiences, organized categories, seller registration and storefronts, wholesale quotation requests, cart and wishlist features and navigation that works on a phone.
